What to Pack for your Travel Nurse Assignment

This travel nurse packing list will help ensure you are packing what you need for your travel assignment. Of course, you may need to bring additional items based on your specific location (i.e., earmuffs in Alaska, for example or a beachtowel in Florida), but this list should give you a leg up on all the items you’ll need for your assignment. Happy packing!

Clothing & Accessories

  • Casual Clothing for your days off – shorts in warmer climates/jeans
  • Sweaters/casual tops for days off
  • Athletic gear (t-shirt, shoes, sports bra, etc)
  • Black pants and blouse/trousers and shirt for a dressier event
  • Dress, if desired
  • Pajamas

  • Underwear

  • Warm weather gear - hat/visor, sandals, swimsuit, sunscreen, beach towel etc.
