Matt started working with Advantage RN in 2010. One of his first and favorite assignments, Anchorage, Alaska. When asked what his favorite part about travel assignments in Alaska was, Matt simply said, “It’s just a lot of fun. It doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter. There’s just so much to do here.” He also loves the facility where he works and continues to return there.

Matt used to fly to Alaska, but this last time he drove across the U.S. and through Canada to make the trek to his assignment with his faithful companion, Gypsy and his motorcycle in tow. He said it was a wonderful experience.

Matt enjoys attending the Iditarod, Alaska’s infamous dog-sledding event when possible. He said that people fly in from everywhere and it is very exciting.

You can find Matt ice fishing, snow machining (not snowmobiling, that’s different!), skiing, caribou hunting and exploring during his time off.

Matt is a superstar traveler and we’re so grateful he’s a part of the Advantage RN family.
